Mechanical repairs & maintenance

AMC Trangie offers a high quality, hassle free mechanical repair and maintenance service both in the workshop and in the field. AMC services agricultural machinery, heavy vehicles, trucks, earthmoving machinery, 4WD's, light vehicles and ATV's.

AMC has a well-equipped workshop where our team is able to carry out major and minor component and machinery overhauls including welding, mechanical and electrical repairs and services.

AMC offers a mobile repair service to assist with breakdowns in the field. The service includes machine repairs, diagnostics, fault detection, preventative maintenance and servicing – our team is ready-to-go anywhere without delay.

Hire equipment

Hiring from mechanics just makes sense as you can be guaranteed the vehicles will be well maintained and regularly serviced. Our hire equipment is backed by our field service teams who are always at the ready to mobilise quickly – should they be required for any maintenance and repairs.

 

AMC has the following equipment available for hire

  • 12 tonne tipper truck

  • 25,000L water truck

Welding repairs & fabrication

AMC can offer a welding repair and fabrication service to our customers. AMC's fabrication services include;

  • General fabrication

  • Trailer Repairs and modifications

  • Earthmoving fabrication and repairs

Parts & supplies

As a major mechanical servicing and repair provider, AMC has access to a comprehensive range of replacement parts for all types machinery.

AMC carries a selection of common parts in stock, however if we don’t have a particular item we will order it as quickly as possible. In most cases, parts arrive within 24-48 hours, which means less downtime for you!

AMC stocks a range of;

  • Air, engine oil, fuel, hydraulic, cab filters and filter kits

  • Belts

  • Electrical components including wiring, trailer plugs, terminals, switches and electrical fittings

  • Nuts, bolts and washers

  • Grinding discs

  • Air valves and hydraulic fittings

Fleet management

As part of AMC's Mechanical repairs and maintenance service, AMC is able to provide your business with a comprehensive fleet management system to ensure your machines are serviced and repaired as required. The service includes regular inspections to check machine hours and to identify potential issues to assist in reducing overall downtime, regular servicing and machine management.

If you are looking to purcahse a new machine, AMC can perform a prepurchase inspection to assist with your decision process. 

Breakdown services

AMC offers a 24-hour repair and breakdown service, with our field maintenance teams available for on-site and roadside support based from our Trangie workshop.
