Our director

With over 10 years’ experience, AMC Director, Bert McCutcheon has extensive knowledge in repairing and maintaining a large range of machinery. Bert’s passion for machinery started early with his family being a part of the agricultural and earthmoving industries for over 80 years. His great grandfather was an International Harvester dealer in Narromine, his grandfather ran a successful earthmoving business and his father is a successful farmer in the Narromine Region. Bert was raised on a large mixed farming enterprise which is where his passion for John Deere started. Commencing his apprenticeship in 2009 at Chesterfield in Dubbo, Bert has continued to develop his skills and understanding of John Deere machinery. After completing his apprenticeship, Bert commenced working at Graincorp which assisted in expanding his knowledge of machinery within the agricultural industry. Soon after, Bert returned to the family farm before opening his own business in Trangie, NSW.

AMC Trangie, established in 2016, initially operated as a mobile mechanic service. Bert’s reputation as a trusted mechanic soon grew, as did the need for a workshop of his own. Now operating out of a fully equipped workshop in Trangie, Bert enjoys the comradery he has built with his clients that have remained with him since the beginning and also establishing relationships with new clients.

If he is not in the workshop, you will find him spending time with his young family.
